Katherine Rockwell

Katherine joined the MCV Foundation in July 2024 as events manager. Previously, she worked for 10 years at the University of Richmond, where most recently she served as an administrative coordinator for international and grant-funded programs at the university’s Jepson School of Leadership Studies.

Prior to joining the Jepson School, she worked in the university’s Athletics Department organizing and managing large-scale events for the Spiders as an assistant to the vice president and director of athletics. Katherine has several years of experience coordinating events including fan meet-and-greet events for the Washington Commanders and alumni and donor events for Spider athletics.

She graduated from the University of Richmond with a bachelor of science in business administration with a dual major in leadership studies. She also earned an MBA from Richmond’s Richard S. Reynolds Graduate School of Business. While at Jepson, she served on the school’s diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging committee. 

Katherine currently lives in Richmond, Va. In her spare time she enjoys trying new baking recipes, diving into a new book and spending time with family and friends.
