Sara Curry

Sara joined the foundation in October 2023 with more than 20 years of expertise in all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and retention, benefits administration, training and development, performance systems, compensation, and organizational strategy.  She began her career in law firms and moved into consulting for a wide variety of industries in the nonprofit, technology, Fortune 100, hospitality, small business, and start-up sectors.

Sara has also enjoyed living in Germany and Japan while supporting her military husband and raising their four children. While overseas, she volunteered in numerous long-term leadership roles in organizations assisting military family members.

Sara earned a B.S. in business administration from Marist College, as well as her Society for Human Resource Management certification in human resources. In her free time, Sara enjoys traveling, photography and long walks on the beach with her two dogs, Indie and Isa.
